From The Pastor’s Desk:
This is the day that the Lord has made, let us
rejoice and be glad in it. First and foremost I humbly and
graciously thank God for allowing me this sacred and divine appointment
of being the under shepherd, for you his people at First Baptist Church
Westside.
As we embark upon this Journey together, worshipping
and serving God, our goal and desire for First Baptist Church Westside
is to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To bring people
to Jesus Christ and membership into his family, to develop them to
Christ-like maturity and equip their life ministry in the church and
life mission in the world. Leading people into a growing
relationship with Jesus Christ in order to strengthen First Baptist
Westside family and its community and magnify God’s name. Joshua
24:15: says choose you this day whom you will serve but as for Me and
My house we will serve the Lord.
First Baptist Church Westside; Pastor Michael and
Sandra Massey love you and thank God for you. We are going to
worship, honor, glorify, magnify and serve the Lord.
