Rev.
Michael D. Massey is a long time resident of Paris, Texas. He has
been the husband of Sandra Massey for the past 30 years.
Rev. Massey is a graduate of Commerce I.S.D., Ranger Jr. College, Texas
A & M at Commerce and Southern Bible Institute. He has worked
in the Public School System for over 18 years.
Rev. Massey has co-partner with SMU in providing educational and
learning enhancement in developing our young people with interactive,
communicative and social skills.
Rev. Massey served as Pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church and Macedonia Syloam
Baptist Church; Associate Pastor of Solid Rock Baptist Church, Interim
Pastor Mt. Canaan Baptist Church and Associate Minister Mt. Moriah
Baptist Church.
Mrs. Sandra Massey is a graduate of the Fannindel I.S.D. in 1970, and
Texas A & M University system at Commerce, Texas in 1975 with a BS
and BA Degree in Education.
In 1976 Sandra Massey served as the Community Coordinator Counselor at
Commerce Independent School District. In 1978 she worked as a job
counselor of the CETA Manpower Services for Greenville, Texas providing
training and opportunities to young high school students for the local
job markets.
Sandra Massey has been a school teacher, counselor, mentor, and friend
to students, colleagues, and family members for the past 24 years; 2 years at the
Commerce I.S.D., and 22 years at the Paris Independent School District. For the years
1997 - 1998 she was awarded the Teacher of the Year Award.
Michael and Sandra have three wonderful children who they have guided
through their young lives to become successful members of the
community.

On December 17, 2007, Rev. Massey was called as the Pastor First
Baptist Church
Westside, "The Friendly Church In The Heart Of A Friendly
People." Together Michael Massey and Sandra Massey bring all of
their leadership, talents, skills, and love to the congregation of
"First Baptist Church Westside".
1 Samuel 13:14 "The Lord has sought out for himself a
man after his own heart, and the Lord has appointed him as ruler over
his people."
Pastor Massey is truly a man of God who believes "Much Prayer Much Power, Little Prayer Little Power, No Prayer No Power".

desire is to glorify my Lord Jesus Christ, to bring people to Jesus and
membership in his family, develop them to Christ-like maturity, and
equip their ministry in the church and life mission in the world, lead
people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, in order to
strengthen the local church, and to magnify God's name.
